CleanSpace Privacy Policy

CleanSpace analyses photos, videos and contacts that you permit it to access, and files in locations you choose through the iOS picker. Scanning, similarity review, Best Shot and compression preparation run on your device. CleanSpace does not require an account or operate a server for your content. The audited app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking SDK.

Access and control

Manage Photos, Contacts and notification permissions in iOS Settings. Files access is limited to your selected locations. CleanSpace does not inspect other apps’ private data. Scanning or selecting content does not delete it. You review and confirm changes. Apple may present another deletion confirmation.

Information kept on your device

Scan results and thumbnail caches stay in memory during the app session. Aggregate storage snapshots are kept locally for up to 90 days or 180 entries; aggregate cleanup summaries for up to 90 days or 100 entries. These records do not include personal-content names, paths or identifiers. Appearance, onboarding and reminder preferences remain until changed or the app is removed.

Use Reset Scan Data, Clear Storage History and Clear Cleanup Summary in CleanSpace Settings. Local reminders are optional and can be disabled. Removing CleanSpace removes its local records and preferences.

Exports, changes and other services

Compression previews are temporary local copies. A compressed copy is saved only after you confirm; the original remains until a separate deletion is confirmed. Contact backup exports a vCard only to a destination you choose. Exported copies and backups remain there until you remove them. Apple Photos, iCloud and selected file or contacts providers may sync content or approved changes under their own policies. Photos items may remain in Recently Deleted.

CleanSpace Pro

CleanSpace Pro is an optional one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. Apple’s StoreKit provides product information, purchase and restoration. CleanSpace checks a verified Apple entitlement on the device; it does not receive payment-card details or run a billing server. Apple processes its services under its own privacy terms. There is no subscription.

Website hosting

These information pages are hosted as a static site using Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process visitor IP addresses and request metadata to deliver and protect the site; see Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. The CleanSpace website uses no advertising or analytics scripts. This website hosting does not receive CleanSpace photo, video, contact or file content.
